Lifepoint Church

Lifepoint Church exists so that people far from God will experience God’s design for life.

Lifepoint Church will regionally influence Virginia for Christ by strategically planting Lifepoint Campuses along the I-95
corridor.

Lifepoint Church aims to leave a legacy of:

• Radical Generosity towards God, community, and each other.
• Extraordinary Honor towards God, our leaders, and each other.
• Irresistible Passion for the Vision of Lifepoint and those far from Christ.

The Accelerate project is a brief moment in the history of Lifepoint that will change its future forever.  God has called Lifepoint to reach this region.  We believe that through this project God will accelerate our impact on this community by putting us in a position to at last find a permanent facility.  Through Accelerate, God will stretch us, grow us, and move us to a new level of faith and anticipation!

• Lifepoint Church has been built upon the Vision of reaching people far from God.
• Up to this point God has provided a wonderful vehicle to accomplish this vision – local schools.
• Although the vehicle to achieve this Vision may change, the Vision will always stay the same – reaching people.
• As vast as the advantages are to being portable, we know that we cannot stay in the school system forever.
• We do know that to achieve the Vision within the strategy set forth, Lifepoint will need a base from which to operate – a facility to call our own.
• This facility would preferably be within a five-mile radius of our current location.
• Most likely this facility will be a renovated ‘big box’ such as an empty warehouse, grocery store, or furniture store.
• This facility would house:
      >     A state-of-the-art auditorium that would service up to 2000 people.
      >     Themed environments for children through 5th grade
      >     Ministry headquarters for all of Lifepoint’s ministries
      >     Space for Starting Point Groups
      >     Space for our Middle School and High School students
      >     Space for our church family to create and build community
      >     Space for our community to meet and hold events
