CONNECTIONS VOLUNTEERING
CONNECTIONS is for anyone who has a heart for helping people! These teams exist to welcome our guests, assist people by making sure they get the information they need and to get them connected into what God is doing at Lifepoint Church! We are also very passionate about honoring and loving on our volunteers! If you love hosting and assisting people, we have many opportunities for you to serve.
First Time Guest Team
First Time Guest Team
- Over-the-top in welcoming our guests
- Going to extraordinary lengths to ensure first time guests know exactly where to go & what to expect
- Seek out & welcome families with children who are here for the first time
- Walk with families to E-CHECK to help parents get their children checked it and show them to each KIDSPOINT environment their children will participate in and answer parent’s questions
- Assists people with any information they need - if you have a question about Lifepoint, Info Central has the answer
- Passionately helping people get connected; including into Lifegroups and volunteering
- Provides new believers with Bibles and other resources
- First & Second Time Guest follow-up; sending handwritten notes & gift cards
- New Believer follow-up; sending handwritten notes
- Volunteers to the volunteers; encourages, supports, and caffeinates our volunteer force on Sundays
- Includes baking for, serving, and spoiling our volunteers before, after, and between their service shifts
Green Room Host
- Volunteers to the volunteers; encourages, supports, and caffeinates our Worship Band on Sundays.
- Includes baking for, serving, and spoiling our volunteers before, after, and between service.
Parking Team
- An excited, friendly, smiling group of people who are the first face of Lifepoint and make the first impression on every guest
- Ensures that everyone gets in & out of the parking lot safely
- Actively demonstrates God’s love with every handshake, fist bump, and hello
- Energetic, talkative, and friendly - a “people” person
- Protectors of the worship experience
- Welcome guests to the worship experience, helping them find a seat and minimizing distractions to they can focus their attention of the message
