STARTING POINT: Play video below for more information. WHAT IS STARTING POINT?
Starting Point is a ten week entry level small group series for those who are interested in exploring the Bible from the perspective of how it is the story of God and discovering how they fit into that story. It is not a “class” or a “course” but rather an opportunity to explore faith, experience community, and ask your questions. It’s for those new to the Bible and is a great way to try our small group culture at Lifepoint to see if it’s for you.
WHO IS STARTING POINT FOR?
It’s for three main types of people:
• Seekers - those who are curious about God, Jesus, the Bible, or Christianity
• Starters - those who are new to a relationship with Jesus Christ
• Returners - those who have some church experience, but have been away for a while
WHAT IS THE SIZE OF A TYPICAL GROUP?
Groups are limited in size to maintain an informal, non-intimidating, conversational environment. Starting Point groups typically have ten to twelve participants and two to four leaders.
WHEN AND WHERE DO GROUPS MEET?
We launch new groups as quickly as we are able to accommodate those who are on our registration list—first come, first served. Typically we have groups on Sunday mornings, Monday or Wednesday evenings within five miles of Riverbend High . Each group session lasts only seventy-five minutes. We will try to arrange for child care if there is a need. For more info email startingpoint@visitlifepoint.org
